Circus! Brighton!

Anyone in Brighton wishing to see Circolombia (it’s a circus, it’s from Colombia) at Freerange at the Fringe Festival, can get two tickets for the price of one for Thursday’s performance. Mention my name and the choreographer, Felicity Simpson at the box office and they’ll sort you out. I’ve seen them in rehearsal and they’re very, very good indeed.

April in the Bronx – the Yankees at bat

In 2009, the New York Yankees won the world series. In 2009, April was a horrible month for the New York Yankees.

By contrast, 2010 has seen the Yankees have an exceptional April. Will they maintain the level of performance and have another 100+ game winning season? If they can steer clear of major injuries all the evidence suggests they will.

Spring Training 2010 – the Yankees in relief

When the Yankees decided that Phil Hughes would be their fifth starter, they, by inference filled three of their relief positions also. Alfredo Aceves, Joba Chamberlain and Sergio Mitre had good enough seasons last year that they were always going to be on the Opening Day roster.
