The Yankees lost Shawn Kelley to the disabled list, to add to their pitching woes. He is suffering with stiffness in his back and will be unavailable until the 28th of May at the earliest.
Shakespeare Reviews
We now have 7 years of Shakespeare reviews on this site – so many it can be hard to find what you’re looking for. I’ve done this handy guide to them all so you can follow the links below to any RSC production over the period. Where there has been more than one production of a particular play, they are listed separately and the date given. I’ll try to keep it updated annually.
What’s coming up in 2014?
Thank you to everyone who visits and supports this site. We now get more visitors per day than ever before. We get twice as many visitors per day just reading old stuff as we used to get on the old site on a day when a new article went up.
So a couple of weeks into the New Year, what seems to be likely to appear here in 2014 and what else will I be involved in?
Season’s End
The New York Yankees season came to an abrupt end with a 4 games to nil against the Tigers – with last year’s champions St Louis looking most likely to play Detroit in the best of seven World Series.
I’m hoping that soon I will have time to post reflections on Yankees form in August and September as well as reviews of The Tempest as performed by the RSC and John Foxx and the Maths live in Shoreditch, London at the Cargo.
Things are moving slowly because of my health but all of these are still in my pipeline.

It’s awfully quiet
Sorry nothing has been posted here for the last several weeks. I’ve been unwell and hope to get back to this as soon as possible with the rest of the baseball regular season, reviews and other things
